  • General questions

  • Q1: Are orders processed in real time?
A: Yes. You will know whether or not your purchase was accepted less than 10 seconds after you hit the purchase button. You will not need to wait for us to manually process the order for them and will receive the product just seconds after the order is submitted.

  • Q2: What is a registration code?
A: A registration code is a tool that software companies use to validate a paid user. If an order is fulfilled by registration code, you will receive a password that allows you to 'unlock' a product's trial version. The trial version is available to download from the manufacturer's web site before you purchase the software. The limitation in the trial version is that you can only copy 20% of a media file. Otherwise, the functionality is exactly the same in the trial version and full version.

  • Q3: How much is the latest version for registered users of the previous version?
A: Any software upgrade is free for registered users.

  • Q4: It takes over a long time to convert a video file, how to get it faster?
A: Video converting is a time consuming job. It depends on the duration, frame size (resolution), the codec of the source file, and those settings for the result file. If you want it faster, you may set a lower frame size.

  • Q5: After the conversion is done, I found the size of output files were too big. what settings should I modify?
A: The size of the output file mainly hinge on "Video Size" and video "Bit Rate". After you highlight the file in the task list, you will be able to change the profile to a lower quality one. Or you can select the a custom profile, and decrease values of "Video Size" and video "Bit Rate", for the default value may be too high for your source or your usage. Generally speaking, if the output parameter values exceed the values of the source, will not improve the quality of the output, and will only increase the size. So you should try the values appropriate for your sources and devices.

  • Q6: It takes over a long time to convert a video file, how to get it faster?
A: Video converting is a time consuming job. It depends on the duration, frame size (resolution), the codec of the source file, and those settings for the result file. If you want it faster, you may set a lower frame size.

  • Q7: After the conversion is done, I found the size of output files were too big. what settings should I modify?

  • Q8: After the conversion to certain audio formats is done, I found that the output audio files always skip. It means there are always some short breaks during playback. How to correct it?
A: Maybe you have set a smaller value for audio bit rate. Please try a larger one for it. Generally speaking, the default value we offered can assure a good result.

  • Q9: I found that video is not in sync with the audio. How to resolve it? Why is this?
A: Unfortunately not all conversions go 100% smoothly and some result in the Audio and Video out of synchronization. This can be due to many reasons with the primary problems being the original movie source and codec clashes. I suggest looking at using an alternative video codec or audio codec.

  • Q10: Could I convert WMV to ASF so that I can stream it with a Windows Media Server?
A: There is no need to convert WMV to ASF. Windows Media Server supports WMV files perfectly. WMV is a more advanced format than ASF, and ASF is a previous version of WMV.

  • Q11: After the conversion is done, how can I put the output files into my iPod so that I can enjoy them?
A: First of all, you must download the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com. And then, you need load the MP4 movie into the “Library” of the iTunes. You will find it in the “Movie” list after that. Connect your iPod with your PC via USB cable so that the device will be recognized by iTunes. After that, you can “SYNC” the movie into iPod following its detail instruction. Actually, the way to import file into iPod is same with the way to import file into iPhone.

  • Q12: How to transfer the output video files to my PSP?
A: Put your converted video files (M4VXXXXX.mp4 and M4VXXXXX.THM) to the folder \MP_ROOT\100MNV01\ in the MemoryStick.

  • Q13: What is bitrate?
A: Bit rate very often used when speaking of video or audio quality and file size - defines how much physical space one second of audio or video takes in bits (note: not in bytes). The higher the bit rate, the more times per second the original sound is sampled, thus yielding a more faithful reproduction and better sound. When choosing an MP3, weigh the advantage of a higher bit rate against the size of the file. Generally speaking, a bit rate of 128 kbps or higher will provide satisfactory sound quality.
The same is with the video picture: the higher the bit rate, the better the picture quality although the output video files size also gets larger. If it is possible to save the output file onto a storage with a large capacity the use of higher video bit rates can be recommended.

  • Q14: Do I need to re-register after I re-install the software?
A: Yes. You need to re-register after you re-install the software.

  • Q15: What is the difference if I am using the trial version not the retail version?
    A: Trial Version:
When you start to run the program, there will be a dialog box with two buttons: "Register" and "Order later ". You have to click "Order later " every time you launch the program, if you are using the demo version.
    Cannot register with registration code.
Try timely and high after-sales service via email.

  • Q16: How to register my software?
A: After you purchase the software successfully, you will receive registration information via Email within one business day. Download the software you bought from our site and run it. Click "Enter License Code..." in Help menu or the menu named by our software name, enter your name and license code in the corresponding box to finish the registration.

  • Q17: I received an error message "could not open video stream from file", why?
A: It may be that the file is not saved to your PC and is instead being streamed from the internet somehow (and cannot convert the file because of this).
If this is the case it will say 'buffering' when trying to load.

  • Q18: How can I get MP3 files transferred to PSP?
A: Please just copy MP3 files into the "MUSIC" folder, one of the subfolders under "PSP" folder. For example, if the removable drive name for your PSP is "F", please copy them into "F:\PSP\MUSIC". If you cannot find it, please create such a path by yourself.

  • Q19: Which one is better in the two kinds of MP4 output forms if I want to get better quality?
A: As far as the output quality is concerned, H.264 would provide the best. But it is larger in output size and slower in the conversion speed. If you only want to get the better quality, you just need H.264 profiles.

  • Q20: Which profile should I choose for my PSP?
A: It depends on the model and the version of its firmware. Only higher version can support AVC output and 480x272 output files. If you are using the early version and model, you’d better only use "PSP MPEG4 Video" profile.

  • Q21: How to choose the output video format from MP4, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC and WMV?
A: If you only want to get the best quality, we recommend MP4 AVC format, which is in H.264 video codec. But the output size would be larger than others. Actually, MP4 format will be more proper in the file size and quality.
